Because real men are grown up and don’t resort to exhibiting childish behavior when they don’t get their way.

Some of these men are very competitive and very emotional. The emotional guys need to work on that if they want to be good poker players. One must be a gentleman at all times. I guess that’s what separates the pros from the amateurs.

The guys that do it on tv do it for more tv time. Guys like Phil Hellmuth and Mike Matusow are a brand, and to get their brand advertised, they’ve got to be seen on tv, and the cameras love temper tantrums.
Poker star wannabe’s, who do it in casinos or wherever, do it because they see people do it on tv, and they think it’s what they’re supposed to do. Unfortunately, players like Barry Greenstien and Doyle Brunson don’t influence young players as much as the louder players do…
