One cold deck can end a heads-up match…but the definition of a “cold deck” depends a LOT on who is playing.
If you put two 6’s on the board, and one guy has 63 in the whole and the other K6…most people would consider that a cold deck and go broke. But a lot of pro’s could probably get away from it.
Another example is, of course, Doyle getting QQ against Chip’s Kings, with undercards on the flop, and Doyle getting after making one bet and reading Chip’s minraise correctly.

what about leading to heads up play? did you see reese destroy the top players int he worl? he’s playing with 1 card at one point not even looking if he has Ace rag just the Ace is good enough to take pos fromt he best in the world.
Heads up can be about sucking out….you get a cold deck heads up and the other player seems to be getting a better run of cards making the plays chip made is probably the only way you’ll win.
