yeah there are better concerts to go to than OAR, especially since the past 2 albums came out. I remember seeing OAR in small ass venues, definitely the better experience. At least the crowd was older then.

i guess if i knew what the setlist was going to be…i would not have gone haha. im into coke…or ugly umaine chicks..but then again its umaine and its tough to find anything but! Still like OAR, but have been to a ton of better concerts. Live (the band) absolutely brilliant show.

That’s funny. Too bad they didn’t play your favorite songs. I don’t place heard the world on my top songs. Not to mention the good thing about OAR is they don’t play the SAME setlist every show. Just like DMB, Grateful Dead, and Phish. Which is the way it should be. The excitement is not knowing what the setlist is going to be. Are you just jealous that you didn’t get to snort some coke and f*ck some girls?

screw OAR….played a show at UMAINE the other night and didnt play Heard the World or Black Rock, their two best songs. Then they went off to my friends party did a bunch of coke and fucked some butch umaine chicks. Their co*cks are probably rotting off. And they sucked in concert

Ok, yes Stories wasnt great but it was decent but if you havent noticed every band has there good periods so they had two kind of crappy albums but I bet there next one kick some major ass like the wanderer did or between now and then did.

No I know exactly what you mean. You like this song because of it’s energy compared to a good song like dreaming tree. But Dreaming tree is too slow, so it is not enjoyable because it’s not as fast. i don’t know about these other people, but I was never responding to you, i was replying to everyone else.

I’ve been to 22 shows. The only song they played every time was Crazy Game. The next closest is Black Rock 17 times, and Hey Girl 17 times. Heard the world didn’t come close with only 10. Since stories of a stranger they have played Love and memories every time which can suck my left nut. I will say they did use to play hey girl every time and black rock just about every time. Now if they only stopped playing CGOP every time. First time I saw dave was like the first time he didn’t play ants.lol

Yeah Dave is Way better. But OAR only plays Crazy Game every show. They Don’t play anything else in every show. I agree stories of a stranger was the start of their down fall. I don’t know what they were thinking when making that.

might be one of the more ignorant statements i’ve ever heard… i used to be a HUGE o.a.r. fan until Stories of a Stranger came out. biggest bunch of sell outs in the music industry today… and if you want to talk about the boring same thing over and over, have you ever been to an O.A.R. show? let’s see i guarantee they played crazy game of poker, hey girl, heard the world, and the black rock everytime probably… shut your mouth and realize that this doesnt compare to anyhting Dave has written

Personally, I don’t know what the big deal is over dreaming tree. I never got into the song. I don’t see what’s so special about it. I agree DMB has more talent but I disagree with you saying that this song is played the same way every time. OAR does jam out their songs and this song is a good example. It’s not originally 19 mins long and is played differently every time I see them in concert. Though I do wish OAR ould jam out more of their songs which I did notice this year at Merriweather.
