Esfandiari is on a roll as he proves why he truly is the Magician…appearing, winning, and showing magic with nearly every hand he plays. Matusow, Ivey, and Negreanu make this all cash game truly High Stakes. And Illya Trincher gets a little redemption from his debut appearance which was rough to say the least.

In response to the Bellagio chips question. The players play at the Bellagio primarily so they have hundreds of thousands of dollars in Bellagio chips that they keep with them and in the Bellagio vault. Vegas casinos will often accept other casino’s chips because they can convert it to cash as easily as a player can. So they can obtain cash from either each player or the house using Bellagio chips because they are ultimately the same as cash.

I really like Phil Laak, but he’s such a rule policeman. It’s kind of annoying. Seems to annoy the other players at times.
