I’m very much aware of what he means. I’m saying that relatively, 22 is not better than AK because very rarely do you get all the money in with 22 against AK preflop. Against each other, 22 is better, but I’m assuming it’s common sense when asked what you would prefer playing 100bbs deep against another opponent, either AK or 22, you would say AK.

No. what he means is that 2-2 is stronger than A-K pre-flop in that you are just a favorite to win the hand. its about 52-48%.
