I love it when Phil says ‘i smoothed called you with 2 queens earlier’ and daniel says ‘oh did you in the most uninterested manner. Phil Hellmuth is such a clown in this season.

Phil is the best at tournament no limit hold ‘em. That’s the only statement you can make. He’s not the greatest poker player because he doesn’t have bracelets in any other game.
He is so arrogant and so full of himself. He will criticise players for plays that I’ve seen him make before. Every pot he loses it was because of someone’s donk play, not because they outplayed him.
I have no respect for him.

my guess would be because the makers only wanted to use surnames and not first names and didnt want to have “brunson” twice thinking it might confuse some people. So they went with Doyle, which is kinda a no brainer. But like i said its only a guess

It’s because of his character. It doesn’t go with commercials or intros or anything like it. He doesn’t give a damn about things with no importance, like image, and he’s not a prostitute.
