at 3:40 when he checks his quads, lol, there’s no better feeling than when you know you have the best hand and just check to make the other guy bet. of course, it’s backfired on me a couple of times when the other person checks lol.

I agree that Daniel shouldn’t call on the river; but I don’t think Gus play is that perfect. His check-raise on the river gives too much away; he must have a monster. A straight all in ( or big bet ) looks much more like a bluf. Really bad call from Daniel.

Actually Daniel was pretty stupid betting on the river becaus Hansen raised Daniels bet on the flop. He had to put Gus on a hand there. Even though Gus is known for his aggression, Daniel should know that he either got a set of fives or nines on the flop, or maybe two pair. When the five came on the turn he should know that Gus either has a full house, nines over fives, or he has quads. Gus was pretty lucky on this one and he played it exellent.
